The idea of Tiny Timber & Co. started in 2017, when I was looking for a creative outlet & was wanting to create the perfect nursery for my daughter. I was looking for a custom 3D wood name sign to hang above her crib, but couldn’t find any Canadian companies to make one. I immediately went to my dad (who has every tool imaginable & the best woodworking shop) to see if he could help me make one. He was up for the challenge, so we brainstormed all the ways that we could create one. After trial & error, we had cut what would be our first name sign- the Mila Rae sign with 2 hearts (fast forward to today, that design & colour combo is my bestseller). In 2018, I decided to open an Etsy shop to see if there was more interest. What started out as making a few signs a month, quickly turned into so much more! Over the past years, my business has grown into a full-time gig & I have had the opportunity to make hundreds of signs & have shipped them all across Canada. Every sign is still cut with the help of my amazing dad, something I’m so grateful I get to do with him.

After the birth of my son in 2020 & a break from Tiny Timber to take a maternity leave, I am officially back! While my shop was closed, I was busy working on this website to help streamline the ordering process, invested in new machinery & created a whole new line of engraved products to offer in addition to the 3D name signs.
